How much does a custom engagement ring cost?
Custom engagement rings at V Jewelers can start as low as $1,500 for simple settings and scale to whatever your vision and budget allow. The biggest cost factors are the center stone (especially diamonds), the metal type and weight, and the complexity of the setting. We design to your budget — not the other way around — and give you one clear, all-in price before any work begins.
How long does a custom engagement ring take to make?
Most custom engagement rings take 4–6 weeks from approved design to finished ring. Simpler settings can be ready in 3 weeks; intricate designs with specially sourced stones may take longer. If you’re working on a proposal timeline, let us know and we’ll plan the schedule around your moment.
Can I bring my own diamond or use a stone from an heirloom ring?
Absolutely. Bringing your own diamond or repurposing stones from an existing piece is one of the most popular reasons people choose custom. We’ll evaluate, clean, and reset your stones into the new design — it’s also the heart of every heirloom redesign we do.
Can you redesign an engagement ring she already owns?
Yes. Heirloom redesigns are one of our specialties. We carefully remove the stones from the existing piece, melt and refine the original gold if you’d like, and use both to craft something brand new with all the meaning of the original. It’s part of the broader in-house restoration work we do at our bench.
What if I don’t know exactly what she wants?
That’s the most common starting point — and it’s exactly what the consultation is for. Bring a few photos of rings she’s mentioned, anything she wears regularly, or just a feel for her style, and we’ll help shape your idea into a design. There’s no pressure to have it figured out before you walk in.

We’re located at 13761 W Bell Rd, Suite 205, Surprise, AZ 85374 — in the West Point Town Center, to the right of Sprouts Farmers Market.
