Conformance status
We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA — the standard widely referenced for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
The site is currently partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA. This means most of the site meets the standard, but some content — particularly certain third-party tools described below — has not yet been fully verified or remediated. We are continuing to improve and assess the site.
Measures we have taken
- Text and spacing scale with your browser's font-size setting, and pages reflow without loss of content when zoomed.
- Color contrast across the site's text and interface meets WCAG AA.
- A clearly visible keyboard focus indicator, designed to stay visible on both light and dark areas of the site.
- A consistent, logical heading structure; standard page landmarks; and a “Skip to main content” link.
- Decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers so listening users are not read meaningless content.
- A site-wide “Pause animations” control in the footer that stops moving content, plus automatic respect for your operating system's “reduce motion” setting.
- Links that open in a new tab announce that they do so.
- An internal structural accessibility review of every page on the site, plus an automated check that helps prevent regressions.
Known limitations and accessible alternatives
Some functionality is provided by third-party services we do not fully control. We have remediated what we can and provide accessible alternatives:
- Online checkout and shopping cart (provided by Snipcart): We have styled it to meet our color-contrast standard and added a visible focus indicator, and full conformance of the third-party checkout flow is still being assessed. You can place any order by phone at (623) 975-6140, or request assistance through our contact page — we are happy to complete your order with you directly.
- Chat widget (provided by Podium): This is a supplementary convenience. The primary ways to reach us — phone and our contact page — do not require the chat tool.
- Map (Google Maps on the Visit page): The map is supplementary. Our full street address and a text “Get Directions” link are always provided as an accessible equivalent.
